This high-grown Ethiopian coffee comes from the Bare drying station in the Sidama Zone, operated by Elto Coffee. It is composed of JARC selections grown by local outgrowers at an altitude of 2200-2300 meters. The coffee is processed using the natural method, where cherries are sun-dried on raised beds. The flavor profile is clean and complex, featuring notes of citrus, stone fruit, and raspberry, with a sweet, smooth body reminiscent of milk chocolate and a long, tea-like finish similar to peach iced tea.
Black & White is the realization of barista champions Kyle Ramage and Lem Butler’s ambition to democratize elite‑level coffee. They manage a dedicated roastery since 2017, roasting four days per week.
