This coffee is a single-origin Colombia bean from Patio Bonito in Caldono, Cauca. Grown at 1700m and processed washed, it features typica variety with notes of cooked apple, pear, and caramel.
Founded by wedding photographers Ivana and Marko, Kava Family began with a single derelict space on Hvar island transformed into cafe Kava 37 before expanding to Split's mainland market. Their team includes Q Grader and coffee buyer Tobias Berg, who sources directly from Latin American origins after extensive travel through producing regions. The brand's visual identity reflects Hvar's landscape—green for vegetation, yellow for Mediterranean houses, blue for the Adriatic—creating a distinctly Croatian coffee aesthetic focused on community building and quality sourcing.
