This decaffeinated coffee is a blend from Bridazul in Nicaragua, sourced from two farms: El Paraiso in Mosonte and Los Suyates in Dipilto, Nueva Segovia region, grown at 1500-1700 meters altitude. The blend features Parainema, Java, and Maracaturra varieties. Processing includes Carbonic Maceration Natural and washed methods. Decaffeination is performed using the CR3 method in Bremen, which extracts caffeine with carbon dioxide without altering the coffee's original flavor. The flavor profile is full-bodied with notes of dates and cacao nibs, offering fruity tones. Kafferäven has worked with Bridazul since 2015.
