About This Coffee

This coffee is sourced from a group of women producers in the Sierra and Frailesca regions of Chiapas, Mexico, through the Nantic program. Cultivated at 1200 meters altitude under forest cover in rich volcanic soils, this coffee features a blend of Typica, Bourbon, Caturra, Catuaí, and Sarchimor varieties. The cherries are hand-picked, fully washed, and dried on patios or raised beds. The resulting cup offers a clean, balanced profile with distinct flavor notes of citrus, pomegranate, and dried fruit.

Stereo Coffee Roasters

Geoff Polci, a certified Q Grader whose coffee journey spans two decades, founded Stereo Coffee Roasters in Toronto in June 2018. Polci first roasted coffee in 2004 at a restaurant in Costa Rica and went on to run a series of cafes and co own another roasting company before launching Stereo. The roastery focuses on sustainable, traceable coffees from single farm producers, with a particular commitment to sourcing from women and Indigenous communities. Polci brings a hands on approach to quality, and his Q Grader certification underpins the sourcing and roasting decisions across the lineup.
