Lactic Geisha
Nostos CoffeeAbout This Coffee
This Geisha coffee is produced by Luis Marcelino of Aroma Nativo in Colombia. It is grown at an altitude of 1800-1950 meters. The coffee undergoes a unique honey lactic fermentation process, involving an initial anaerobic fermentation with mucilage intact, followed by a second fermentation in sealed barrels with lactic bacteria. The beans are dried on raised beds for 13 days and stabilized for two months. This highly expressive coffee offers a sweet and tropical flavor profile with notes of mango, lychee, peach, and lemon zest.
