This coffee is a single-origin lot from Finca La Divisa in Buenavista, Quindío, Colombia. Produced by Diofanor Ruiz at an altitude of 1,950 meters, the coffee is grown in an agroforestry system. It features the rare Java variety and is processed using a washed method. The flavor profile is delicate and tea-like, characterized by notes of juicy raspberry, lemon sorbet, and the floral sweetness of honeysuckle.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
