About This Coffee

This coffee is sourced from the Thunguri station in the Nyeri region of Kenya, produced by smallholder farmers associated with the Rumukia Co-operative. The coffee consists of SL28 and SL34 varieties and is processed using the natural method, where cherries are hand-picked, sorted, and dried on raised beds. This process results in a fruit-driven profile with a wine-like depth. The flavor profile is characterized by floral notes, ripe pineapple, and passionfruit, maintaining the vivid acidity and structure typical of Kenyan coffee.
