This fully washed coffee comes from the Ngandu Cooperative in the Nyeri region of Central Kenya at 1700-1800 meters altitude. The AA grade lot features Batian, Ruiru-11, SL-28, and SL-34 varieties grown in rich volcanic soil. Coffee cherries are handpicked at peak ripeness and processed using the washed method with 12-24 hours fermentation in concrete tanks, then dried on raised beds for 7-14 days. The coffee offers complex flavor notes of rhubarb, strawberry pie, pink lemonade, and blood orange with a crisp, fruity, and vibrant character. Light roast profile designed for filter brewing.
