El Buho is a specialty coffee from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala, specifically from the Las Terrazas plot of Finca La Bolsa. This coffee is a blend of Caturra and Bourbon varieties, processed using the washed method. It offers a calm, sweet profile with distinct tasting notes of lime, macadamia nut, and carrot cake. The cup is characterized by a rich, syrupy body and a bright apple and citrus acidity, making it well-suited for espresso preparation.
RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world.
