About This Coffee

This specialty coffee is sourced from the Lalesa station in the Gedeb district of Ethiopia, owned by Wubit Bekele. It is a 100% Arabica coffee consisting of 74110 and 74112 varieties, along with local heirloom cultivars. The coffee is naturally processed using an artisan method where whole cherries ferment in closed plastic barrels before being dried on beds. This process results in a distinctly fruity profile with tasting notes of blueberry, lavender, lemon, and cheesecake.

Father's Coffee Roastery

RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. What started as a small family business with dad roasting and mom tasting while the kids watched has grown to a team of over 10 people with a Prague showroom opening in Bubenč. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world. Their Mothership espresso blend has become beloved by baristas and home enthusiasts for its full creamy body and milk chocolate flavor.
