This Ethiopia Idido is a natural processed coffee from the Gedeo region. It features a vibrant flavor profile centered on floral notes. The finish is characterized by delicate hints of strawberry, apple cider, and black tea. This coffee is produced using the Heirloom variety.
Founded in 2020 in Sumida-ku by Machi Kodama and Sho Takanaka, ou·bai·tou·ri takes its name from a four-character Japanese idiom (桜梅桃李) meaning cherry blossom, plum, peach, and apricot, an expression that each should be valued for its own character. Kodama won the 2023 1st Crack Coffee Challenge roasting competition. The roastery focuses on light roasts with fruit-forward profiles, sourcing seasonal lots and emphasizing the inherent flavors of each origin.
