This natural-processed coffee is from Ethiopia's Guji region, specifically the high-elevation Hambela district. It is grown by smallholder farmers cultivating indigenous and heirloom varieties. The cherries are transported to central processing stations where they are meticulously sorted and sun-dried for two to three weeks before being hulled. The hulled beans are then transported to Addis Ababa where they are dry-milled and hand-sorted for export. The coffee is juicy and sweet with strawberry notes and a finish of milk chocolate and caramel.
