This single-origin coffee is from the Guji region of Ethiopia, grown at elevations between 1,950 and 2,200 meters by smallholder farmers around the Danbi Udo washing station. It is a naturally processed coffee featuring a blend of 74110, 74158, 74112, Badessa, Wolichu, and Kudhume varieties. This light-medium roast offers a vibrant, juicy, and floral flavor profile with notes of tropical fruit, citrus, honeysuckle, lavender, and a refined black tea finish.

Black Arrows Coffee

Daniel and Nikole Zamudio co founded Black Arrows Coffee in 2015, starting with a small cafe in California before relocating to Washington state and shifting to an online roasting and wholesale model. They now roast in small batches from Auburn, Washington, and opened their first Seattle retail location in Belltown in 2024. Sourcing spans Latin America and East Africa, with offerings like single origins from Nariño in Colombia and Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia alongside house blends. The operation reflects Nikole's Mexican heritage in touches like a homemade Mexican mocha syrup and Día de Muertos celebrations. Community runs through the core of the project: regular public cuppings, a recently launched barista school, and monthly coffee raves that combine live DJ sets with specialty coffee in what has become one of Seattle's more distinctive gathering formats.
