This coffee is a single-origin lot from the Kii Factory, part of the Rung'eto Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, Kenya. Grown at an altitude of 1,600 to 1,800 meters in clay-loam soils, this coffee features a blend of SL 28, SL 34, Batian, and Ruiru 11 varieties. It is processed using a fully washed method, involving overnight fermentation and drying on raised beds. The resulting cup is clean and structured, offering distinct flavor notes of loquat, golden raisin, and citron tea.
Founded in 2015 by Khanh Trang and Trey Cobb in the Texas Hill Country, Greater Goods emerged when the wife-and-husband team decided to follow their dreams and palates to create a woman-owned roasting company with purpose. Their custom roast profiles elevate natural coffee characteristics from sparkling acidity to brown sugar sweetness, while maintaining longterm relationships with farmers through premium pricing.
