This single origin coffee comes from Tarrazú, Costa Rica, sourced from small-scale farms in the San Marcos and San Pablo regions at altitudes between 1200 and 2000 meters. It is 100% Arabica, processed using the washed method, and features flavor notes of mango, honey, and passion fruit with a syrupy mouthfeel and honey-like aftertaste. The coffee supports conservation efforts for Jaguars through donations to local environmental projects.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
