Peninsula is an espresso blend made from equal parts high-grade Ethiopian and rotating South/Central American beans. Currently featuring Costa Rica and Ethiopia, the blend combines the bright, sweet notes of blueberry and cherry from the East African half with nutty, frangipane sweetness from the South American component. Processing methods include both washed and natural. The coffee is grown at altitudes between 1500-2000 meters and features Heirloom and Caturra varieties. Winner of a 1 Star Great Taste Award in 2024. The flavor profile is reminiscent of Bakewell tart or blueberry frangipane, with tasting notes of frangipane and plum.
