This coffee is a Geisha variety from Finca Deborah, located in the Volcán region of Chiriquí, Panama. Grown at an elevation of 1950 meters, this coffee undergoes a deeply extended natural carbonic maceration process. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of melon, watermelon, jack fruit, and rum cherry. It is roasted to a medium-light level, making it suitable for various brewing methods.
Founded in 2011 by Birdie Chiu, whose decade of I.T. experience brought an eye for practicality and problem-solving to specialty coffee, Hazel & Hershey operates under a 'bean to cup' philosophy. Named after Chiu's two daughters, the roastery has evolved from equipment distribution into a comprehensive coffee company offering thoughtfully sourced beans, innovative products, and all-embracing services that elevate coffee beyond commodity status.
