This coffee is a Geisha variety from Finca Deborah in the Volcán region of Chiriquí, Panama. Grown at an altitude of 1950 meters, it undergoes an extended natural carbonic maceration process. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of lemongrass, pineapple juice, grapefruit, and moscato. This coffee is roasted to a medium-light level, making it well-suited for filter brewing methods.
Founded in 2011 by Birdie Chiu, whose decade of I.T. experience brought an eye for practicality and problem-solving to specialty coffee, Hazel & Hershey operates under a 'bean to cup' philosophy. Named after Chiu's two daughters, the roastery has evolved from equipment distribution into a comprehensive coffee company offering thoughtfully sourced beans, innovative products, and all-embracing services that elevate coffee beyond commodity status.
