This coffee is a Geisha variety from Finca Deborah in the Volcán region of Chiriquí, Panama, grown at an altitude of 1950 meters. It is processed using an extended natural anaerobic method. The flavor profile features notes of juicy plum, lychee, red grape, and ripe golden cherry. This medium-light roast is produced by Jamison Savage on a farm known for its volcanic, nutrient-rich soil and extreme elevation, which contributes to the coffee's distinct character.
Founded in 2011 by Birdie Chiu, whose decade of I.T. experience brought an eye for practicality and problem-solving to specialty coffee, Hazel & Hershey operates under a 'bean to cup' philosophy. Named after Chiu's two daughters, the roastery has evolved from equipment distribution into a comprehensive coffee company offering thoughtfully sourced beans, innovative products, and all-embracing services that elevate coffee beyond commodity status.
