This coffee is sourced from The Coffee Gardens in the Bukyabo region of Mt Elgon, Uganda. Produced by smallholders, this coffee is a blend of SL14, SL28, and Nyasaland varieties. It undergoes a cherry-fermented washed process, where cherries are pulped and fermented for twenty-three hours before being dried on African beds in solar dryers. The resulting cup is clean and sweet, featuring flavor notes of nectarine, brown sugar, and rosehip tea.
Based in Herent, Replica Roasters was founded by Jasper De Clerck with a clear and focused mission. As the name suggests, their approach to roasting is centered on precision and consistency, aiming to replicate the perfect roast profile for each specific coffee time and time again. This technical dedication ensures that the unique character of every bean is reliably expressed in the final cup.
