About This Coffee

This decaffeinated coffee is produced by communities in the Frailesca region around the Reserva Biosfera El Triunfo in southern Chiapas, Mexico. The coffee is decaffeinated using the Mountain Water Decaf process, which uses pure water from Pico de Orizaba to remove up to 99% of the caffeine without chemicals. The cup profile is round and balanced with a lot of sweetness, clarity, and slightly fruity notes with moderate acidity.

Drip Roasters

Drip Roasters is a Bern-based specialty coffee roastery run by brothers Dennys and Fabian. They'd been roasting for two years before opening their café on Eigerplatz in 2020. All their coffees are single origins. The lineup is balanced, from beans that are roasted a shade darker for broader appeal, to special lots that sit on the lighter end. The selection shifts depending on the season, and especially after origin visits, but is always fully traceable.
