Industra Coffee

Petra Strelecka and Adam Obratil founded Industra in 2013 in Brno after both spent time working in London's specialty coffee world, Petra at Prufrock Coffee and Adam at Taylor Street Baristas, where they trained with figures like Jeremy Challender and Ben Kaminsky at Square Mile. Petra went on to win the Czech Brewers Cup three times and became the only woman to reach the World Brewers Cup finals in 2017, while Adam placed second in the British AeroPress Championship. They roast on a 12 kilogram Diedrich IR 12 from a dedicated space in Brno's Nova Zbrojovka, with a second location in Prague operating inside the 1981 Second Hand vintage shop, complete with an outdoor courtyard. The team, led by head roaster Milan from Slovakia, runs a Bar Takeover program inviting guest roasters and hosts regular cupping clubs and charity auctions. Industra brings a funky, colorful energy to Czech specialty coffee, with a philosophy rooted in transparency, education, and a willingness to keep evolving as the coffee world changes around them.
