This coffee is grown at 1,800 meters in the Othaya region of Nyeri County, Kenya. Produced by over 500 smallholder farmers, it consists primarily of SL-28 and SL-34 varieties. The coffee is processed at the Mahiga Wash Station using a traditional washed method, involving depulping, fermentation, and drying on raised beds. The flavor profile features tart, juicy fruit notes such as cranberry sauce, black currant, dark grape, and raisin, balanced by a foundation of brown sugar, turbinado, and malty sweetness, with hints of cardamom and mace.
