This coffee is grown at the Kona Rainforest farm on the slopes of the Mauna Loa volcano in South Kona, Hawaii, at an altitude of 1600-2000 feet. It is a single-origin SL34 variety processed using an anaerobic washed method with organic-certified yeast. The flavor profile is characterized by a concentrated acidity with notes of tropical fruit, cherry, mango, grapefruit, frangipani, and toasted coconut. It offers a rich, full-bodied cup that is distinct from typical Kona coffees.

Coffees have consistently achieved exceptional ratings from Coffee Review, with more than 100 coffees scoring between 93 and 97 points and an impressive five year average of 94 points. The selection specializes in Hawaiian coffees from Kona and Ka'u regions alongside carefully selected producers from Panama, Jamaica, and Vietnam.
