About This Coffee

This single-origin coffee is grown by the Koerintji Barokah Bersama cooperative on the slopes of Mount Kerinci in Sumatra, Indonesia, at an altitude of 1400-1700 meters. It consists of Andung Sari and Sigarar Utang varieties. Processed using an anaerobic natural method, the coffee undergoes a 7-day fermentation in airtight bags followed by drying on raised beds. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of mulled wine, plums, raisins, and cocoa, offering a dense, complex fruitiness balanced by a velvety cocoa finish.
