This is a specialty coffee from Kenya, specifically from the Gikirima Factory which is part of Kibugu Farmers Cooperative Society in Embu County, near Gicherori Town on the southeastern slopes of Mount Kenya. The coffee grows at 1,800-1,900 meters altitude in rich volcanic soil. It is processed using the traditional fully-washed method with river water and hand-controlled channels, then dried on elevated tables. The varieties are SL 28, SL 34, Ruiru 11, and Batian. This is a medium roast coffee with floral notes, sun-dried tomato, and a herbaceous aftertaste. It has a full body and complex flavor profile with 85.50 cupping points.
