This coffee is a single-origin selection from the Karimikui Coffee Factory in the Kirinyaga region of Kenya. Produced by 600 smallholder farmers, it consists of SL28, SL34, Batian, and Ruiru 11 cultivars. The coffee is processed using a washed method, which includes pulping, dry fermentation, washing, and a final soak in clean water before being sun-dried on raised beds for 14-16 days. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of dark berries, a juicy mouthfeel, and a complex finish.
