Haunted Hodag

Stone Creek Coffee

About This Coffee

Haunted Hodag is a dark roast blend designed with deep cacao and bonfire smoke notes at the forefront, balanced by a bright, candy-like sweetness from natural processed components. The blend features washed Colombia for body and cacao, natural Colombia for tart sweetness, and washed Papua New Guinea for earthy, smoky, and floral character. This coffee offers a complex contrast between dark, smoky flavors and unexpected bright fruit notes, making it suitable for both pour-over and drip brewing methods.

Stone Creek Coffee

Stone Creek Coffee was founded in 1993 in Whitefish Bay (Greater Milwaukee) by Eric Resch, who opened the first community-focused café and built the brand around craft coffee and local engagement. They roast in small batches with a farm-to-cup ethic—emphasizing origin clarity, regular cupping, staff education and origin trips, and worker-forward governance (employee-ownership and B Corp certification in 2022)—aiming to highlight terroir and community impact rather than flashy roast tricks.
