This coffee is a Bourbon variety from Guatemala, grown at 1500–1700 MASL in the San Pedro Pinula region (Japala, Nuevo Oriente). It is processed using a White Honey method. Tasting notes include lemongrass florals with notes of rich milk chocolate, raisins, and malt biscuit body.

Pharmacie Coffee Roasters was founded by Rick Curtis, who spent over five years running specialty coffee shops in Brighton and Hove before opening the roastery in Lewes, East Sussex, in 2021. The name was inspired by a 1970s French pharmacie sign Rick kept behind his couch and the "drugs" signage at Stumptown in Portland, which had shaped his coffee thinking. The move to Lewes came at the suggestion of Danny Tapper from Beak Brewery, who pointed Rick to an old warehouse at the Cliffe Industrial Estate. Rick roasts on a Giesen W15 and also offers a co roasting service, hiring out the equipment to other coffee professionals. The space hosts a seven day brew bar, social bike rides, live music, art exhibitions, and training sessions.
