This coffee is a special preparation from the Bette Buna Megadu farm in the Guji region of Ethiopia, grown at an altitude of 2000-2200 meters. It is a blend of local landrace varieties and JARC 74112/74158 cultivars. The coffee undergoes a unique yeast-inoculated anoxic natural process using Côte des Blancs wine yeast. The flavor profile is intense and sweet, featuring notes of pineapple, yuzu, raspberry, blackcurrant, blackberry, white chocolate, white grape, pear, apricot, nectarine, and lemon.

Scenery Coffee Roasters was founded in London in 2023 by a trio with a combined three decades of experience in the specialty coffee industry. They roast on a Loring S35, producing on set days and holding coffee in airtight bulk storage before bagging, a workflow designed around freshness and consistency. Sourcing is forward looking: Scenery works with importers to purchase coffee early while it is still at origin, releasing lots as they land in the UK. All furniture in the space is upcycled, and the approach to materials follows the same minimal intervention philosophy that guides the roasting. Scenery was named a Sprudge Notable Roaster for 2025 and won Sprudge Best Design/Packaging in 2024.
