This Ethiopia Gotiti Washed Organic coffee is produced in Gedeb Wereda, South Region of Ethiopia. It is a washed (wet) processed coffee from the Eva Gotiti Wet Processing Station, processed after water depulping and fermentation, then sun-dried on raised beds for about 10–14 days. Cup profile includes toffee, orange blossom, floral notes, apricot, peach, and milk chocolate, suggesting a balanced, fruity, and elegant cup.
Felix Teiretzbacher founded kaffeelix in 2012, initially to supply his own café before specializing completely in roasting. His approach is to roast coffees relatively light, a method that highlights the unique characteristics of a bean's origin and processing rather than masking them with roasted notes. This dedication has paid off, with Felix winning the World Coffee Roasting Championship in 2022.
