About This Coffee

This specialty whole-bean coffee is sourced from the Banko Chelchele area in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. It consists of 74112 and 74110 varieties grown at high elevations in fertile red clay soil. The coffee undergoes a special anaerobic fermentation process where fruit is added to the cherries in sealed tanks for 5 to 10 days, followed by sun-drying on raised beds. This unique processing results in a complex flavor profile featuring notes of roasted pineapple and blueberry cheesecake.

Father's Coffee Roastery

RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. What started as a small family business with dad roasting and mom tasting while the kids watched has grown to a team of over 10 people with a Prague showroom opening in Bubenč. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world. Their Mothership espresso blend has become beloved by baristas and home enthusiasts for its full creamy body and milk chocolate flavor.
