This coffee is produced by Leopoldo Andrade at Finca La Josefina, located in the Pichincha region of Ecuador at an altitude of 1,800 meters. The coffee is of the Sidra variety and has undergone an anaerobic washed process. This specific processing method, which involves fermenting the cherries in a sealed environment, is known to enhance the intensity of fruit notes and acidity while providing a slight increase in body. The Sidra variety is celebrated for its bright, sweet, fruity, and light floral characteristics.
Founded by Curtis Zimmerman, a former international bicycle racer who discovered Nordic coffee culture during his travels through Europe, Presta Coffee emerged in 2012 with a coffee cart before establishing itself as a roastery in 2014.
