About This Coffee

This Catuai variety coffee is produced by Pablo Bonilla at the La Ladera farm in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. Grown at an elevation of 1,850 meters, this lot underwent an anaerobic natural process, where cherries were fermented in airtight tanks for 36 hours before being slow-dried for over 18 days. The resulting cup offers a distinct flavor profile featuring notes of concord grape, dark cherry, and dark chocolate.

Chrome Yellow Trading Co.

Chrome Yellow Trading Co. was founded in the summer of 2015 by Atlanta natives Kyle and Kelly Taylor, operating from a renovated 1950s garage with a sunlit roasting room in the Old Fourth Ward. The roastery produces small batches on site, with primary sourcing focused on Colombian origins through partnerships with producers Rodrigo Sanchez and Claudia Samboni of Aromas del Sur. Rotating blends include Huxley, a combination of natural Brazil and washed Mexico, alongside seasonal single origins from Colombia, Indonesia, and Costa Rica. The business has partnered with The Rounds zero waste delivery service, offering its Counter Point coffee in reusable glass jars as part of a 94% waste free model. Chrome Yellow has been featured in Atlanta Magazine's Best of Atlanta.
