This coffee is grown in Tarrazú, Costa Rica. It has a creamy body, decent acidity and flavours of plum and chocolate. Processing is Washed, with an altitude range of 1200–1500 meters. Bean types include Catuai and Caturra; harvest occurs Nov–Feb. Weight listed as 250g per bag.
Grain & Grind opened its first coffee shop at the start of 2018 beneath the old Victoria Infirmary buildings on Battlefield Road in Glasgow. A roaster was installed in that original shop and later relocated to Inverness, where master roaster John now hand roasts in small batches across a range of over twenty offerings. The company has grown to eight café locations spread between Glasgow and Inverness. They also run a wholesale supply business providing beans, brew bags, and equipment to cafés, restaurants, and hotels, partnering with San Remo for espresso machines and Mahlkönig for grinders.
