La Roca is a single-origin coffee from Tolima, Colombia. It is a collaboration with Jorge Rojas and neighbors, featuring Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia varieties. The coffee cherries undergo a 48-hour fermentation, are fully washed, and dried. Flavor notes include nectarine and cherry with a milk-chocolate grounding depth.
The first coffee roaster in Cambridge, Broadsheet opened in 2017 , with owner Aaron McDougall, a finalist at the US Roasting Championship, shifting into coffee from a previous careerin banking. Aaron is an Arabica Q-Grader and sources exceptional coffees from around the world that range from comforting to experimental and eye-opening.
