This coffee is sourced from 50 small producers in the towns of San Juan de la China, Anzoátegui, and Santa Isabel in the Tolima department of Colombia. Grown at high mountain elevations between 1400 and 2000 meters, this washed coffee is a blend of Castillo and Caturra varieties. It offers a rich and creamy profile with vibrant red fruit sweetness, a syrupy body, and a smooth finish. Tasting notes include red berries, caramel, cherry, and milk chocolate.
Clifftop Coffee Roasters is a Portugal-based specialty roaster that sources single-origin coffee seasonally and ships it freshly roasted across Europe. It started in 2021 with coffee roasted on a balcony overlooking the sea and sold at a local market, then grew into a nano-roastery. The operation has scaled up since, with a bigger roaster, and a dedicated warehouse. Green coffee is sourced seasonally and roasted for balance and consistency, backed by quality control and regular cupping, across a rotating lineup that has recently included Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Rwanda.
