This single-origin coffee is produced at Finca Las Flores in the Huila region of Colombia, situated at an altitude of 1750 meters. The coffee is a Chiroso variety processed using a pulped natural method combined with anaerobic fermentation and a thermal shock technique. This process involves using hot and cold water to open the bean pores and fix volatile compounds. The flavor profile is characterized by notes of strawberry, mango, and lychee. It is a medium-dark roast suitable for various brewing methods.
While the Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur was officially founded in 2006, the coffee passion of Elisabeth and Willy Andraschko began back in 1979 when they established a Viennese coffee house in Berlin, with Willy notably joining the world-famous Café Einstein and shaking up the scene. For over twenty years, this specialty coffee manufactory has supplied coffee lovers, luxury hotels, and starred restaurants with exceptional coffee, earning recognition far beyond Berlin's city and national borders.
