This single-origin coffee is grown at Finca La Costa in the southwest of Antioquia, Colombia, at an altitude of 1900 meters. The coffee plants benefit from optimal growing conditions near the Cauca River canyon, which contributes to the bean's unique characteristics. This balanced coffee features flavor notes of dark chocolate, nuts, toffee, and cashew. It is a medium-dark roast, processed using the washed method, and consists of 100% Arabica beans, specifically the Bourbon and Typica varieties.
While the Andraschko Kaffeemanufaktur was officially founded in 2006, the coffee passion of Elisabeth and Willy Andraschko began back in 1979 when they established a Viennese coffee house in Berlin, with Willy notably joining the world-famous Café Einstein and shaking up the scene. For over twenty years, this specialty coffee manufactory has supplied coffee lovers, luxury hotels, and starred restaurants with exceptional coffee, earning recognition far beyond Berlin's city and national borders.
