This Panama Geisha lot from Abu Coffee, Cañas Verdes, Chiriquí, is processed with a multistage anaerobic natural fermentation. The cherries were picked at peak ripeness and fully dried to 10% moisture. Expect intense tropical fruit notes, bright citrus, and florals with a smooth mouthfeel from this expressive natural/anaerobic process.

Matt's background spans aircraft engineering in Australia and years of competition at the highest level of specialty coffee. The team, which includes Sierra Yeo (2022 UK Brewers Cup Champion), roasts exclusively on Stronghold electric roasters powered by 100% renewable electricity. Every batch is roasted to order, with a deliberate focus on brightness, sweetness, and flavor. Rose sources top end specialty lots through direct relationships with farmers in Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, China, and Indonesia. The name represents a duality Matt finds in great coffee: something simple and familiar on the surface, yet layered and complex underneath.
