This coffee is from the Al-Khanshali Estate IV in the Haraz region of Sana’a Province, Yemen, grown at an altitude of 2050 meters. It is a single-variety Udaini coffee processed using a 4-day carbonic maceration method. The flavor profile features sparkling acidity with notes of rose, berries, hibiscus, raspberry, figs, and persimmons, offering deep florality and lingering sweet tropical notes. The cherries are sorted by density and undergo controlled anaerobic fermentation before being slow-dried on raised beds.
Founded by Curtis Zimmerman, a former international bicycle racer who discovered Nordic coffee culture during his travels through Europe, Presta Coffee emerged in 2012 with a coffee cart before establishing itself as a roastery in 2014. Operating using a 15kg Joper Roaster with the belief that "coffee is meant to be shared," Presta has served Tucson for over a decade with a philosophy rooted in integrity and passion.
