About This Coffee

This coffee is a single-origin from Uganda, grown in the Nyakshenyi area within the Kigezi mountains. It is produced by Tugume Ben with natural processing, hand-picked and dried on raised beds. Grown around 1,950 meters above sea level, it presents a light roast with tasting notes of fresh peach and white grape, balanced by syrupy sweetness and vanilla undertones; jammy mouthfeel and pomelo-like acidity.

Caffe Artigiano

Established in 1999, Caffe Artigiano has grown into one of Western Canada's most recognized specialty coffee brands, operating over 25 cafes across British Columbia and Alberta. In January 2025, the company acquired Salt Spring Coffee, making it Canada's second largest organic coffee roaster and the only Canadian roaster offering Regenerative Organic Certified coffee. Roasting takes place on a Probat machine at their Burnaby facility, where the team works to maintain the European inspired ambience and latte art tradition that helped put the brand on the map. With over two decades of history, Caffe Artigiano continues to balance scale with a genuine commitment to quality and sustainable sourcing.
