About This Coffee

This coffee is a yellow honey processed microlot from 76 smallholder farmers at the Kajere Station in the Kajere region of Uganda. Grown at an altitude of 1900-2000 meters, this coffee features the SL14, SL28, and Nyasaland varieties. It offers a flavor profile characterized by notes of plum, apple juice, and wildflower honey, with a sweet malic acidity and a pleasant mouthfeel. The coffee is produced by the Mountain Harvest group, which focuses on economic and environmental sustainability for smallholders on Mt. Elgon.
