About This Coffee

A fruity coffee from the Los Rodriguez family in Bolivia. This Batian Natural from their Kusillo farm in Caranavi runs through a drying method specific to their farm, called coco natural (nothing to do with coconut). Cherries are washed, laid out on patio for 48 to 72 hours, then moved into one of Buena Vista's stationary box dryers until they hit 11.5% humidity. It's a setup particular to their wet mill, and it shows in the cup: tropical fruits, mango and cacao nibs. The process is the exact same compared to the Vanilla Sky (that was a Java) but with a Batian variety that they brought from Kenya.
