This washed Red Bourbon coffee is sourced from the Rugali, Kilimbi, and Gisheke washing stations in Rwanda's Nyamasheke District at 1600–1650 meters altitude. Hand-sorted cherries undergo pre-pulp float and fermentation in concrete tanks for approximately 12 hours. The parchment is separated by density, given a final rinse, hand-sorted again, and dried on raised beds for 30 days. The coffee features a 13-14 screen size and offers apple juice, winegums, and black tea flavor notes.
Dark Arts Coffee is a London-based roastery known for its rebellious spirit, occult-inspired branding, and a serious passion for great coffee. They take a "no-nonsense" approach, sourcing high-quality beans and roasting them to perfection. Their philosophy is to make "hellishly good coffee" without the pretension, often collaborating with artists and musicians.
