This single-origin coffee is a Pink Bourbon from Colombia, produced by Pastor Ordonez at El Placer in San Agustín, Huila. It is processed washed and grown at about 1800 masl. The tasting notes mention sweet, syrupy almond flavors with chocolatey undertones. Roast level is medium. The Artery Community Roasters is a social enterprise based in Ottawa, Ontario, employing people living with disabilities at living wages. They roast in small batches on a Coffee Crafters Artisan XL with a capacity of up to 10 pounds per roast, and ship within one week of roasting. Sourcing is done on a direct trade basis, maintaining one to two degrees of separation from the farmers. The Artery was named Coffee Roaster of the Month by Commonly Coffee.
