A single-origin washed coffee from Northern Sumatra, Indonesia, grown in the Simalungun and Karo regions by smallholder farmers in the Karo Community Coop. The coffee features the heirloom varietal processed using traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulling) method at altitudes of 1200-1300 meters. Medium/Dark roast with a full-bodied, rich profile displaying earthy and robust tones. Tasting notes include fig, dark chocolate, tobacco, and orange pekoe tea with subtle citrus and herbal characteristics. Cup score: 86.
