This is LiLo Coffee Roasters' January 2025 seasonal blend inspired by Japanese New Year traditions and the resilience of pine trees. The blend combines Ethiopia Niguse Gemeda Silinga Natural, Guatemala Retana Washed, and Colombia Finca San Jose Monsalve Botero Rum Barrel Washed. Roasted to a medium dark level, it features intense blueberry and blackberry flavors with honey-drizzled baked apple sweetness and a gentle rum-like finish. The blend reflects the enduring spirit of pine with bold berry notes paired with sweetness that evokes the excitement of welcoming a new year.
LiLo Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee roastery and café founded in Osaka’s Amerikamura district in 2014, and is regarded as one of the city’s early specialty coffee pioneers. The roastery part of the business is led by head roaster Keita Nakamura, who oversees bean selection and roasting, bringing a broad range of single-origin coffees to life with clarity and character.
