This coffee comes from the Cyesha washing station, established in 2022 in the Nyamasheke district of Western Province, Rwanda, near Lake Kivu. The station is operated by Muraho, a company run by brothers Karthick and Gaudam Anbalagan. The coffee is Red Bourbon variety sourced from approximately 470 smallholder farmers. Grown at altitudes between 1400-1750 meters above sea level, the coffee benefits from the unique microclimate of Lake Kivu with cool winds and stable rainfall. It is washed processed and exhibits flavor notes of wild strawberry, berry, and raspberry, creating a bright, sweet, and fruity specialty grade profile.
