ROOT Decaf is a specialty decaffeinated coffee made from 100% Arabica beans grown by sustainable farmers. The coffee is decaffeinated using a sugarcane-based method which preserves sweetness. It offers an earthy, rich flavor profile suitable for espresso and other brewing methods. The product is sold with options to grind the beans according to preferred brewing style.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
